Edna "Nancy" Arnold Rhodes, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born November 3, 1938, in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cullen Arnold and Inez Martin Arnold. She was married to Homer "Billy" Rhodes until his death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Arnold and Bud "Judge" Arnold; and sisters, Alice Harris, Zettie Hayes, and Elender Queen. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Nancy was a graduate of Girls High and was retired from Ryobi. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her daughters, Felicia Coakley, Denise Meredith, Angela McCurry (Oscar), and Phyllis Arnold Allen (Bobby); grandchildren, Shaun Coakley (Leigh Ann), Nicolas Coakley, Cassie Coakley, and Kayla Ashton (Brandon Brooks); and 9 great grandchildren. Friends and family may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be held followed by a committal service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621. The family will be at the home.
