Edna Bowen Timms, age 89, of Anderson, SC passed away Friday, September 01, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born March 10, 1928 in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Claude Bowen and the late Lois Bowen Thomas. She was a graduate of Girls High School and a member of Eureka Baptist Church. Edna was survived by her son, Charles Bickley Timms, Jr.; daughters, Cindy Garrison (Richard) of Sandy Springs, SC, Lucretia Perkins (Mike) of Anderson, SC and Charlene McCallum (Scott) of Pendleton, SC; 8 grandchildren, Madison Timms, Ali Rose Timms, Charles Timms III, Rocky Timms, Matthew Perkins, Keri Small, Zachary Garrison and Christopher Garrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bickley Timms, Sr.; two brothers and two sisters. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2-3 pm Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Eureka Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm in the church sanctuary with Rev. Robert Dickard officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
