Domanoski, age 91, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Born in Floral Park, NY, he was the son of the late Michael N. Domanoski and the late Sophie Sokol Domanoski. Mr. Domanoski was a graduate of Sewanhaka High School, Floral Park. He served in France during WW II in the 12th Armored Division as a member of General George Patton's Army. For 30 years, Edward was a letter carrier for the New Hyde Park, NY, post office. Surviving are 3 sisters: Stella Petasky (Samuel) of Fort Worth, TX; Elizabeth "Betty" Waters (Robert) of Glen Cove, NY; and Barbara Hill (Walter) of Anderson, SC. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Domanoski was preceded in death by sisters Josephine Puntervold, Anne Srednick, Helen Cimaszewski, and Jean Weeks; brothers John Domanoski and Joseph Nicholas Domanoski. A private family ceremony to celebrate the life of Mr. Edward Domanoski will be held at a later date at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.
