Mr. Fowler was a graduate of Westside High School and was a longtime employee of Owens-Corning Fiberglas.In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Anita Martin Fowler of Belton; two stepchildren: Misty Michelle Newton of Honea Path, and Jeremy Shane Lee of Belton; two sisters: Tammi Shaw and Virginia Crawford, both of Anderson; and three step-grandchildren.He was predeceased by his mother and a sister, Bobbie Jean Hanvey.A Memorial Service will be held at 5pm on Thursday, October 14, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. Mitch Brooks.The family is at the home of his father, 211 Fretwell Drive, Anderson, and at the home of his wife, 102 Springdale Drive, Belton.
