He was the son of the late Wess J. Grant and Evelyn Ramage Grant.Surviving are wife, Janis Cheek Grant; two sons: Eugene Grant & wife, Lynda, of Williamston, SC, and Wesley Grant & wife, Dana, of Anderson, SC; and one nephew, Stacy Vickery & wife, Debbie, of Fair Play, SC. His life revolved around four grandchildren: Evan, Harrison, & Cristin Grant, and Channing Vickery. Mr. Grant retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and served in the National Guard during the 1960's and 1970's. His love of God, family, life, and friends kept a constant smile on his face.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2011, from 4pm until 6pm. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hwy 29 North, conducted by Pastor Rex Simmons.The family is at the home, 164 Cann Road, Anderson.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O.
