Ernest Edward Hunter, age 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born November 3, 1945, in Anderson, SC, he was the only child born to the late Ernest Ray Hunter and Alberta Chappell Hunter. He was married to Evelyn Darline Frankum Hunter until her death in 2020.

Edward was a former security officer and following retirement became the owner of Hunter's Lawn Service. He was a faithful member of Belmont Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 26,2024, from 10:00-11:00 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Rev. Alan Rhodes officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
