Edward Kent Wilson, age 63, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born March 10, 1961, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Victor Michael Wilson and Marcella Carroll Wilson. He was married to Tammy Sue Asmussen Wilson until her death in 2015. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Andy Wilson and Julie Wilson.

Edward was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an elevator mechanic by trade. He enjoyed traveling, cars, and watching television. The most important thing to him was his family whom he loved dearly. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Wilson (Kristen) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Courtney Tedrow (Richard) of Murrells Inlet, SC; and granddaughter, Hayden Deas.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, PO Box 285, Anderson, SC 29622.

The family will be at their respective homes.
