Edward John Wydareny, Jr., age 52, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his residence. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 29, 1964, he was the beloved son of Edward John Wydareny, Sr. and Diana Callahan Wydareny. Butch worked very hard to provide for his family and always focused on what mattered most, loving and caring for everyone else. He was a devoted husband, great friend to many and truly an inspiration. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Farrell Wydareny; his cherished brother, Mark Wydareny; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Wydareny; and his grandparents, Betty and Edumund Callahan and Anna and John Wydareny. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Angel's Catholic Church on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Aubrey McNeil officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to St. Mary of the Angel's Catholic Church, 1821 White Street, Anderson, SC 29624, or to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 East Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
