Obituary

Elaine Wadsworth Greeson Foster, age 79, passed away on December 10, 2014, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Venus, TX, she was the daughter of the late Lone Wadsworth and the late Martha Wadsworth. Though recently of South Carolina, Elaine was a longtime resident of the Midlothian area. She never met a stranger or missed an opportunity to laugh. Elaine was a mother to many, a Memaw to scores, and a master prankster. She was very loved and will be sorely missed. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Mikey Greeson, of Midlothian, TX, Sharon Miller and her husband, Chuck, of Belton, SC, Doug Greeson and his wife Elizabeth, of Fort Worth, TX, Darla Freeman and her husband Scott, of Dickinson, TX, and Dennis Greeson, of Gilmer, TX; a brother, Ralph Wadsworth; two sisters, Ruth Blevins and Wanda Eubanks; four grandchildren, Angie DeWeese, Jonathan Miller, Chris Miller and Mallory McKeever; six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Podge Greeson; her second love, Don Foster; three brothers and one sister. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, at 1591 S. 9th Street, Midlothian with Pastor Gary Wadsworth officiating. Meal and fellowship will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621, or to the Hospice of your choice.
