Priscilla Elaine Linder Heaton, 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born March 6, 1949, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Alton Linder and the late Sybil Margie Treadway Linder. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jason J. Cole.

She was a graduate of Carolina High School in Greenville, SC class of 1967 and attended Tri-County Technical College, in Pendleton, SC. After which she worked for many years, as the receptionist for Automotive Service Associates in Anderson, SC. Her warm, friendly personality was a welcome to all customers. In her later years, she did not work outside of the home. She was dedicated to caring for her family. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.

Left to cherish Elaine's memory is her husband of 54 years, Malcolm "Mac" Heaton; children, Jaime H. Cole, and Carrie Heaton; brother, Barry Linder (Margie); sister, Sue Smith; several nieces; and a special nephew, Jonathan Smith. Her precious grandchildren and greatest joys were, granddaughter, Julian Cole, and grandsons, Jessup Cole, and Amos "AJ" Heaton.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A cryptside service will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, at 2:00 at Oaklawn Memorial Garden with Rev. Bill Cleveland officiating.
