Elaine Gable Jenkins, age 60, loving wife of Matt Jenkins, gained her angel wings on Friday, September 30, 2016. Born in Abbeville, SC on June 11, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Edwin T. Gable and the late Lou Ellen Creswell Gable. Elaine graduated from Dixie High School, and then continued on to attend and graduate Clemson University. She worked as a Quality Assurance Technician at Molnlycke Health Care. Left to cherish her memories in addition to her husband, are daughter Ashley Lauren Jenkins; two grandsons reared in the home, Braden Shirley and Issaih Withers of Belton, SC; great-grandson, Tyson; sister, Montee Gary (Spencer) of Abbeville, SC; two step-daughters, Laurie Turner and LeeAnn Jenkins; and three additional grandchildren, Preston Bryson and Ava Bryson of Anderson, SC, and Hannah Turner of Tennessee. The Funeral Service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Monday, October 3, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Monday, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
