Elaine Timms, 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born June 13, 1956, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Swift Gaines and Esoline Wiles Gaines. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Timms, a son, Christopher Adam Timms and her brothers, Ricky Dean Gaines and Douglas Steve Gaines.

Elaine treasured her dog, Sparky, and especially her family. She made it a point to know everyone's birthday by heart. She loved her "many" friends, sitting on her front porch and riding around in her car.

She is survived by her sons, Ron M. Timms, Marion Lee Timms, and David Earl Timms, all of Iva; brothers, Thomas Gaines (Denise) and James Gaines (Clara), both of Starr; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, including Kim Bannister (Mike) with whom she spent much time.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Iva Cemetery with Officiant Shane Duncan presiding. The family will receive friends following the service.
