Audrey Elaine Gunter Vickery, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at home.

Born May 25, 1951, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Ray Gunter and Audrey Adams Gunter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Ralph Vickery; and her sister, Yvonne Kay.

Elaine was a loving, fun, and feisty spirit. She would tell you exactly what was on her mind! Her family was her world, and she especially loved holidays and gatherings where there was lots of love, laughter, and good food. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her beautiful flowers. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Strickland and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Stewart Strickland (Heather) and Austin Strickland (Stephanie); and great grandchildren, Tyler Strickland and Elijah Strickland.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 12:30-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dwayne Peeples and Rev. David Kay officiating.
