Eleanor Jane Hines Mabry passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. She was 75. Born in Greenville, SC on May 26, 1940, Eleanor was a daughter to the late John Allen Hines and the late Cora Jane Davis Hines. Eleanor was a graduate of both, Girl's High, Class of 1958, and Anderson College. She was a long-time agent for Lawrence and Brownlee Insurance Agency and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Allene Hines Gamble of Anderson, SC; son-in-law, Randy J. Nass; grandchildren, Madison and Mason Nass all of Lafayette, IN; nephew, Trent Gamble and his wife Michelle; a great nephew and niece, Aidan and Taylor Gamble all of Simpsonville, SC; brother-in-law, Neil Mabry and his wife Alice of Atlanta, GA; and sister-in-law, Sara Mabry Harris and her husband Tim of Jefferson, GA. Eleanor had been preceded in death by her only daughter, Beth Nass. The Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Dan Batson officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. The family will be at the residence.
