ELEASE CRENSHAWNovember 30, 1916 - July 18, 2009ANDERSON, SCElease 'Johnnie' Crenshaw, age 92, formerly of Sandy Springs, wife of the late Charles Marcus Crenshaw, passed away at National Health Care of Anderson on July 18, 2009. Born in Anderson, SC on November 30, 1916, Mrs. Crenshaw was the daughter of the late Jesse Walter Watson and Alafare Phillips Watson. She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church where she served as the organist for over 32 years, as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of Sandy Springs Fire Department Auxiliary and the Golden Age Club of First Baptist Church.Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 am in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. William R. West officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The family will be at the home of Tom and Jeanie Campbell, 1119 Garrison Road, Anderson, SC.Flowers are to be omitted.
