Elijah Dan Smith, age 43, of Townville, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born and raised in Townville, he was the son of Yvonne Oubre Smith and the late Ronald D. Smith. Elijah had a love for the outdoors, cooking, music, people, and his Lord and Savior. He loved his family above all else. Elijah loved helping others even as he struggled himself. He enjoyed cooking good food and feeding his family and friends. Elijah was loved by many. He is survived by his wife, Julia; daughters, Christina and Taryn; mother, Yvonne; sisters, Dasa Oubre and Brittany Grant; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 1:00-2:30 pm at Double Springs Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm with Rev. Paul Holcombe officiating.
