Elise Reid Terry Bowen May 19, 1930 - April 25, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Elise Reid Terry Bowen, age 81, of 401 Mike McConnell Avenue, Iva, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2012. Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ola Bishop Reid. She was twice married to the late Floyd "Pete" Terry and to the late Ernest M. Bowen. She had worked in textiles for many years retiring from Orr Mill. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Randy Terry of Anderson, and Marvin Terry of Iva; four grandchildren, Tammy Bridges of Anderson who was reared in the home, Miranda Terry, Jimmy Temple, and Kimberly Nichols; six great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Reid; sister, Genevieve Ozmint of Iva. In addition to her parents and her spouses she was preceded in death by brothers, Pete, Dobby, and Joe Frank, and Junior Reid; sisters, Annie Ruth McBride, Irene Owens, and Shelby Todd. A Graveside Service to celebrate Ms. Bowen's life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Roger Kendrick officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
