A faithful and long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Ballenger attended Queens College and Anderson College. Her younger years were spent growing up on The Boulevard. She was a member of the Anderson Senior Assembly. She worked alongside her husband and son in their family business, City Glass Company, for many years. She enjoyed weekends in Highlands, NC, dancing, laughing, and spending time with her family and friends.
