Hampton Street, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Edwin Milford 'Dick' Chastain, died Thursday, February 02, 2006 at Ellenburg Nursing Home in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC, on November 13, 1910, Mrs. Chastain was the daughter of the late James Ward Huckaby and Doanie Malone Huckaby. She was of the Presbyterian Faith and a homemaker. Survivors include sons, Earle Chastain and his wife, Pat and C. M. 'Sonny' Chastain and his wife, Olga; a daughter, Doris C. Pickron and her husband, R.E; a daughter-in-law, Ilka Chastain all of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin M. Chastain, Jr.; six brothers, Henry, Boyd, Lee, Paul, Russell and Louie Huckaby and a granddaughter, Kyle C. Marchbanks.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. Dr. Dean Weaver.The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
