Elizabeth Ann McElhannon Johnson, age 87, of Greenville, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Southpointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born September 14, 1934, and raised in Iva, she was the daughter of the late Eugene McElhannon, Sr. and Annie May Osborne McElhannon. She was married to Gerald D. Johnson until his death in August 2007. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene McElhannon. Lib was retired from Bigelow Carpets and she enjoyed spending time at home. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her sons, Keith Johnson (Linda) and Wesley Johnson (Missy); grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Ashleigh Brooks), Hampton Johnson (Kate), Cameron Johnson (Susan), Danielle Southerland (Ethan), Alex Littlefield (Nick), and Blake McMahan (Kristy); great grandchildren, Tatum Southerland, Lucy McMahan, and Blakely McMahan; brother, James McElhannon (Sarah); and sister, Juanita Patterson (Lee). The family will receive friends Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 12:30-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
