Our beloved mother Elizabeth Darrelene Jones (Dare), 80, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away January 1, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Pearson and Ollie Vaughan, December 28, 1942, in Hendersonville, NC. She married the late Edward H. Jones in 1963, and they lived together in Hendersonville. Elizabeth is survived by three children: Richmond Jones and his wife Avrielle of Morristown, TN, Daniel Jones and his wife Cheronda of Anderson, SC, and Nicole Ray of Arvika, Sweden. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dare was predeceased by her loving husband in 1998. Our mother was one of the strongest, bravest, and kindest humans to grace this planet. Without her, we wouldn't be here today, we wouldn't be the people we are, and we wouldn't have the life we have. She is everything to us, and more, and there's no way we could ever quantify the importance she's held in our life. Our mother was the best mother a person could ask for. Thank you, mom, for everything. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 104 Becky Don Dr, Greer, SC. Dare's wishes were people would make donations in support of New Apostolic Church USA, World Relief fund in lieu of sending flowers.
