Elizabeth McBride Anderson, SC Elizabeth Augustus Burton McBride, age 86, of Anderson, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on December 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Milton Burton and the late Minnie Getsinger Burton. She was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Wilburt McBride; a son, Randall McBride, of Williamston, SC; a daughter, Beth Durham and her husband Danny, of Williamston, SC; a sister, Annie Hall, of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Audrey Jennings, Amy Fortner, Randy Thomas and Stephen Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Randon, and Karrigan Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Burton, Eva Miller, and Claira Church; and a brother, Floyd Burton. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Ed Hunsinger officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
