Elizabeth Celeste McClure, 78, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Brookdale of Anderson. Born October 13, 1940, in Lavonia, GA, she was a daughter of the late Justus Erwin and Rossie Nell Price Owen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cleon McClure. She retired after 38 years of service from Owens Corning as a shipping Clerk. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Elizabeth is survived by her brothers, Doyle Owen of Anderson, SC and Harold Owen of Honea Path, SC; brother-in-law, Sam McClure (Suann) of Anderson, SC and cousins, Benard and Brenda Prince of Greer, SC. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
