Elizabeth McConnell Anderson, SC Ann Elizabeth "Ditty" King McConnell, age 95, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC , on August 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Broadus King, Sr, and the late Beulah Threatt King . She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She is survived by: three nephews: Michael King and wife Sheryl of Anderson, SC, Bo King and wife Candace of Anderson, SC, and Robbie King and wife Jennifer of Anderson, SC; six nieces: Lana King of Anderson, SC, Monica Parrot of Irmo, SC, Diana Vaughan and husband Robert of Ehrhardt, SC, Deborah Biscontini and husband Arnold of St. Martin, Virgin Islands, and Terry Spinks and husband Mo of Acworth, GA, and Kim Ghele of Mount Pleasant, SC;; one brother: Hilton L. King and his wife Judy of Anderson, SC; one sister: Sara Moore of Clemson, SC; one sister-in-law: Martha King of Anderson, SC; and great nieces: Heather Erickson and Cindy Myers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Harold McConnell; twin infant children; one brother: Broadus King, Jr.; one brother-in-law: Lester Moore; one nephew: Bobby Wright; and one great nephew: Jeffrey Wright. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Evan Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:45 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.
