She was an active member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, was church treasurer for over thirty years and also involved in many other church activities. She was homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.Survivors include her son, Donald Rhett Mullikin and his wife, Sherry of Williamston, SC; three grandchildren; Erin, Glen, and Ryan Mullikin; and one step-grandson Charles D. Owens II.She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, George Reid Mullikin; son, Dwight Reid Mullikin; four brothers and five sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Chris Huff.
