Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Nimmons, age 78, of 1912 Big Creek Road, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson County on December 2, 1930, she was a daughter of Lena Mae Adams and the late Ralph Lamar Adams. Mrs. Nimmons was a graduate of Belton High School and was a retired employee of Bannister's Nursery.In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, William Thomas Nimmons; daughters: Dona Burrell and husband, Ron of Wilmington, NC, Angela Stubbs of Belton, SC, and Leana Watts of Belton, SC; sister, Shirley Vaughn of Belton, SC; and brother, Melton Adams of Belton, SC. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Her father, Ralph Lamar Adams; a son, Ralph William Nimmons; and a brother, Waymon Adams, predeceased her.The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, July 27, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Richard Busha.
