Elizabeth "Shug" Blair Stephens, 77, of Anderson, SC passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home. Born August 27, 1940 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Blair and the late Ruby McConnell Greenway. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Melvin Stephens and grandson, Stephen "TJ" Hurt. She had worked at Patrick B. Harris Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Rogerson (Ben), Sonja Hurt (Tony)and Tambralyn Hill all of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Krystal Lecroy, April Hurt and Benjamin Rogerson IV and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm -1:30 pm Sunday, January 14, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Adams officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 504 S. Gossett Street, Anderson, SC 29624. The family will be at her residence.
