ELIZABETH LATHAM TUCKER August 3, 1922 - March 7, 2013 IVA, SC Elizabeth Latham Tucker, age 90, passed away on March 7, 2013, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Iva, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boss Latham and the late Mary Campbell Latham. She was the Administrator of Golden Acres Nursing Home in Iva, SC from 1960 until 1995. Elizabeth was a fellow in the American College of Health Care Administrators. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Mickey Tucker; a daughter, Eugenia Allen and her husband Jimmy; two grandchildren, Tammy Freeman and Matthew Joseph Tucker; three great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Freeman, Chandler Herbert and her husband Matt and Alex Freeman; three brothers, Rudolph Latham and his wife Lillian, David Latham and his wife Omega and Major Latham; two sisters, Lillian Latham and Reba Banich; and two sister-in-laws, Ginny Latham and Neva Latham; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Eugene "M.E." Tucker; three brothers, Robert, Gene and Dwaine Latham; and a sister, Loneta Dunn. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Curtis Bundy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Tammy, 1043 Edenbrooke Circle, Anderson, SC.
