Elizabeth Marguerite Kiern Weber, age 99, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at her home. Born July 23, 1922, in New Orleans, LA, she was a daughter of the late Peter Blanchard Kiern and Rita Tamburella Kiern. She was the widow of Melvin Joseph Weber. Elizabeth was devoted to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her son, Frederick James Weber of Garland, TX; daughters, Eugenie Anne Long (Steve) of Spring, TX, Elizabeth Rita McCumber (Frederick) of Anderson, SC, Dianne Theresa Mapes of Houston, TX, and Michelle Renee Ellenberger (Tom) of Kerrville, TX; sister, Anna Marie Valle of Katy, TX; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Blanchard Matthew Kiern; and sister, Eugenie K. Giglio. No services are planned at this time. She will be interred at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
