Elizabeth Ann Whitten, wife of the late Walter Louis Whitten, went to be the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at AnMed Medical Center. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. A cherished friend, she will be remembered for her loyalty and kindness. A committed Christian, she will be remembered for her service to God and others. Surviving are two sons, Benny (Kathy) and Buddy (Judy); and a sister, Virginia Carithers. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 25, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Oakdale Baptist Church with Dr. David Blizzard officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakdale Baptist Church.
