Ella Ree Mauldin Wiles, lovingly known as "Mama Ree" went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, February 24, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born in Anderson County, SC on December 27, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Pick and Eula Brown Mauldin. She retired from Jackson Mill after 46 years as a weaver. Ella Ree was a member of Iva First Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her children, Alice Fratie Wiles Simpson and her husband Charles "Wimp" Simpson, of Prattville, AL and Saralyn Wiles Kinley and her husband Larry Kinley, of Iva, SC; five grandchildren, Vickie Seamon, Shelby Hollon, and Cindy Little, all of Prattville, AL, and Sandia Brady and Greg Kinley, both of Iva, SC; nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James E. "Jake" Wiles; a daughter, Shelby Jean Wiles; and three great-grandsons, Mark Hollon, Troy Seamon and Cameron Brady. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Fortney officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Saralyn Kinley, 10503 Hwy 81, South, Iva, SC 29655 and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the nurses from Palladium Hospice Care for the loving care shown to "Mama Ree" during her time of illness.
