Ellen Rogers Browning, 89, loving wife of the late Lewis Browning, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson Co., SC, on March 12, 1929, Ellen was the daughter of the late W.C. Rogers and Saphronia Richey Rogers. Ellen was a graduate of White Plains High School and was a dedicated and faithful member of Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. Those left to cherish her memory include her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her many friends. In addition to her parents and husband Lewis, Ellen was preceded in death by one sister, and five brothers. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastors Edward Bender and Mike Montgomery officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
