Margaret Lou Ellen Loftis Anderson, SC Margaret Lou Ellen "Ellen" Loftis, age 65, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on June 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Victor Loftis and the late Clara Mozelle Byrum Loftis. She worked at the AnMed Health Campus for many years. She is survived by her son, Roy Richard "Richie" Loftis, of Anderson; brothers, Charles Loftis, of Sacramento, CA, Dwight Loftis and his wife Carol, of Anderson, SC and James Loftis and his wife Diane, of Hertford, NC; a sister, Barbara Courtright and her husband Chester, of Anderson, SC; a grandchild, Samantha Turnage, of Anderson;, and long-time friend, Benny Smith. The Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Dwight Loftis, 206 Arcadia Drive, Anderson, SC following the service.
