He was a graduate of Westside High School and had attended Winthrop College. Rian was currently a nursing student at Tri-County Technical College.Survivors include his parents and stepfather Farrell Carter of Anderson; grandmother, Jean Cotitta and several aunts and uncles, all of Phoenix, AZ.The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2:00 pm officiated by Reverend Steve Silvey.
