ELMER TINSLEY January 16, 1926 - August 11, 2006ANDERSON, SCMr. Elmer Eugene Tinsley, age 80, of 509 Azalea Drive, husband of the late Willie Hall Tinsley, died Friday, August 11, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on January 16, 1926, Mr. Tinsley was a son of the late Wilburn P. Tinsley and Margie Seay Tinsley. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas and attended Canaan Baptist Church in Anderson and was a United States Army World War II veteran.He is survived by sons, Gene Tinsley and Jim Hall, both of Anderson; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2006 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Jerry Parnell. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 14, 2006 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.
