Elnora McCarley Anderson Elnora Moore McCarley, age 76, wife of Larry McCarley, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015, at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, on October 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late L.H. and Intha Reynolds Moore. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement as a dietician with the Anderson County Detention Center, she was a produce manager with Ingles and a dietician and kitchen manager at the Haven of Rest. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Steve McCarley, Sr., (Angie) and Dale McCarley (Sandra) of Anderson; her daughter, Andrea McCullough (Chris) of Anderson; her sister, Betty Lavallee of Westminster; her grandchildren, Matthew Pruitt, Krysta McCullough, Stephen McCarley, Jr., Timothy McCarley, Cameron McCarley, Adrianne McCarley, and Caleb McCarley; and 6 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Covenant Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Steve Silvey and the Reverend Dr. Don Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
