Eloise Herring Fouche, age 88, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016, at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Born in Anderson, SC on June 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Otis Lenzy Herring and the late Hazel Darby Herring. She retired as a nurse from AnMed Health Medical Center with more than 35 years of service. Eloise was a faithful member of Garner Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir. She is survived by her nephew, Reverend Mark Entrekin and his wife Janet, of Laurens, SC; a sister, Linda H. White and her husband Billy, of Anderson, SC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles William Fouche; and her sisters, Anna Mae Entrekin and her husband Rev J. Furman and Doris H. Bolt and her husband J.D. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at The McDougald Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Entrekin officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, on Thursday, prior to the service, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
