ANDERSON, SC'Mrs. Elsie Teasley Rowland Richey, 100, of Anderson, SC died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at her home,1316 Lee Dobbins Road in Anderson, SC.Born on July 23, 1905 in Hart County, GA, to the late Isham James and Cora Lee Carnes Rowland, she was a homemaker and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church in Hartwell. She is survived by six sons, Edward, Roger, and Calvin Richey of Anderson, SC; Jerry Richey of Candler, NC, and Louis and Jimmy Richey of Belton, SC; five daughters, Thelma Ramey, Betty Gray, Jo Ann Alewine, Joyce Wentzky, and Mary Carter all of Anderson; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Inman Rowland of Lavonia, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph Thomas Richey; three infant sons; three brothers; and five sisters.
