Emilie N. Rowland Anderson, SC Emilie Norris Rowland, age 66, of 210 Arden Chase, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Belton, SC, on March 3, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Bailey Norris. She was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School and member of Concord Baptist Church. Mrs. Rowland was a homemaker and was an affiliate of the Larry Rowland State Farm Insurance Agency. Emilie was an avid gardener. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Larry M. Rowland, of the home; her son, Jamie Barnes and his wife Saundra; step-sons, Ken Rowland and Vance Rowland and his wife Renea, all of Anderson; a brother, Danny Norris and his wife Beverly, of Summerville, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Erica Barnes, Paige Barnes, Jacob Barnes, Mary Annebella Barnes, Larry McKinley Rowland III, Harrison Rowland, Truman Rowland, and St. Claire Rowland; her step-mother, Ester Vickery Norris; and her Maltese, Repo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jo Anna Cameron. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Marcaurelle, Reverend C.W. Hicks and Reverend Dr. Don Cox officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
