Emma Hedden Simpson, age 81, of 3341 Lost Meadows Lane, Buford, GA, widow of James Charles Simpson, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at Northside Hospital, Cumming, GA.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family, cooking and gardening.Mrs. Simpson was born in Anderson, SC, on October 31, 1927, and was the daughter of the late James S. Hedden and Rosa Cleo Reynolds Hedden.She is survived by her children: Jim Simpson, Stone Mountain, GA; Jeff Simpson and his wife, Corinne, Roswell, GA; Patricia S. Klamke and her husband, Lex, Jefferson, GA; and Beth S. Simpson, Buford, GA; a brother, Gary T. Hedden and a sister, Clelia H. Blanton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Tony Simpson, Tim Simpson, Ty Simpson, Tara Knight, Chris and Amy Klamke, Jeannie and Matt Overton, Jeff Simpson, Cristie and John Montgomery and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2008, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson, SC, with Rev.
