Erah Elizabeth Fields Brady, age 83 of Anderson, SC went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Born October 23, 1933 in Elberton, GA, Erah was the youngest child and only daughter of the late Clarence Lee Fields, Sr. and the late Jewel Elizabeth Sorrells Fields. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Lee Fields, Jr., Dallas Fields, Ansel Fields, and an infant son, Lewis Wilson Brady, Jr. Erah graduated from Elbert County High School and retired from the purchasing department of AnMed Health. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Anderson. She enjoyed caring for her home and family, cooking, and gardening. She was an avid reader. She will be sorely missed by her loved ones and, in particular, by her husband of 64 years. Erah was seldom away from his side, and attending to his every need was the source of her greatest joy. Erah is survived by her devoted husband, Lewis Brady of the home; daughters, Judy (John) Griggs of Williamston, Connie (Rick) Gray of Iva, Carol (Delma) Sentell of Greer; son, Ray (Becky) Brady of Williamston. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Jason Metz, Bootsie Griggs, Josh Gray, Amy Gray Russell, Chad Wentzky, Andrew Sentell, Meredith Sentell Glynn, Kate Brady, and 16 great-grandchildren. A service honoring her life will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John "Bootsie" Griggs officiating.
