Eric Timothy Teitloff, age 32, of Charleston, SC, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. Born August 29, 1989, in Greenville, SC, he is the son of Timothy C. Teitloff and Jana R. Teitloff. Eric attended the Citadel and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina. He worked as a Senior Renewal Specialist for Blackbaud, Inc. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Butler Hutchins, and their child, Tucker Ellis Teitloff; brother, Jonathan Teitloff; sister, Laura Hembree (Tyler); nephew, Weston Hembree; grandmother, Mary Rickenbaker Trull (Joel); aunts, Elizabeth Carlisle (Tom) and Debbie Pruitt; uncles, Kendall Teitloff and Kevin Teitloff; and cousins, Lindsay Carlisle, Clay Carlisle (Marissa), and Allison Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Faye Teitloff, and Rev. Eddie Rickenbaker; and cousin, John Anthony Pruitt. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at The McDougald Pendleton Center. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric's honor to a memorial of one's choice.
