Essie Jean Walls Webb of Belton, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Rainey Hospice House.

She was born in Anderson, SC to the late Rennie Esco Walls and Dora Cheek Walls. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bud Walls, Dewitt Walls, and Doyle Walls; and sisters, Ella Gentry, Helen Burdette, Willeen Bridges, and Peggy Brooks.

Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Caring for her family was a top priority. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and serving others any way she could. She truly had a servant's heart. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening and tending to her flowers. She was a faithful member of Belton Church of God.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Allen Webb; son, Donnie Mullinax and his wife Janice; sisters, Claudia Stephens and Sue Walls; and granddaughter, Stacy Mullinax who was the apple of her eye.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Black officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm.
