Mrs. Rosie Estelle Moore Williams, age 87, wife of the late Claude Telford (Ted) Williams, of 1404 Mitchell Street, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Moore and Samantha Ridley Moore. Mrs. Williams had worked in the textile industry at Laddlassie Mill and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of The Little Holiness Church of God. Survivors include her sons, Thomas Williams and his wife Lisa; Ronald Williams, Roger Williams, and Kenneth Williams, all of Anderson; daughters, Annette Jackson and her husband Jimmy of Abbeville, Claudine Sessoms, Delores Garrett and her husband Roy, all of Belton; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Williams was a loving wife, mother and dear friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Landreth; brothers, Gene, Talmadge, Alvin, Chris, Herb, Alex and Rev. J.T. Moore; sister, Eva McCurry. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 until 7 pm.
