Ester Lee James Vickery, age 98, went to meet her Lord and Savior on September 27, 2022. Ester Lee was born September 9, 1924, in Anderson, SC, to Annie Bell Anderson James and Issac Fleming James, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Meredith (Vic) Vickery; her second husband Willard Norris; son, James Ray Vickery; stepdaughters, JoAnna Cameron and her husband Jim Cameron, and Emily Roland and her husband Larry Roland. She is survived by her son, David Vickery (Judy); daughter-in-law, Dianne Vickery; granddaughters, Kim Vickery, Lori Vickery Ross (Joe), Jennifer Henson (Mike), and Renee Martin (Billy); and great granddaughters, Joanna and Jolie Ross, Mackenzie Henson, and Savannah and Peyton Martin. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 2905 Standridge Rd., Anderson, SC 29625 or the charity of one's choice.
