Ethel Whitman McMinn, 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at NHC Health Care. Born August 25, 1928, in Pendleton, SC, Ethel was the daughter of the late James Arthur Whitman and Lillian Smith Whitman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred "Joe" McMinn. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Carroll of Washington, DC and Darlene Hopper of Anderson, SC; and her granddaughter, Ashley Jenkins of Anderson, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 19, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Cox officiating.
