ETHEL CORRINE COBB SPAKE November 14, 1914 - November 17, 2005ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ethel Corrine Cobb Spake, age 91, formerly of Greenville Street in Pendleton, SC, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at NHC HealthCare in Anderson, SC.Born in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Robert Cobb and Bessie Cobb. She was retired from Anderson County School District #4 and was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.Survivors include a son, Robert C. Spake of Anderson, SC; a daughter, Barbara S. Baker of Pendleton, SC; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Spake; two sons, Dennis and Frank Spake; a brother, Dewey Cobb; a sister, Catherine Caldwell and three grandchildren, Marty Alton Burdette, Gwen Spake and Ray Spake.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by the Reverend Jimmy Cox. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 19, 2005 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
