Ellison, age 86, of Anderson, SC, died Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.Born in Easley, SC on April 15, 1920, Mr. Ellison was a son of the late George Ellison and Irene Ellison. He enlisted in the United States Army, later joining the United States Air Force where he retired after 32 years of military service. He was also a United States Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by his children, Deborah Davis of Greenville, SC, Ronald Ellison of Easley, SC, Lyvonne Jernigan of Virginia, Richard Ellison of Anderson, SC, and Marclyn J. Ellison of Laurens, SC. Also children of his second marriage, Luvenia Dorn, Doris Hall, Millie Burton, Sherry Davis, George Davis, and Juanita Hays; 33 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, his first wife Mildred Elizabeth Ellison and second wife Lovace Ellison, he was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Eugene Ellison and George Michael Ellison; daughter Brenda Kay King; brother George Ellison and sister Mary Davis.OBITUARYFLAGMR.
