Eugene Victor Mereshko, age 18, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Born in Springfield, MA on September 6, 1997, he is the son of Victor and Tatyana Mereshko. Eugene worked in the automotive parts business. He was a member of Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Andrew Mereshko; sisters, Katie, Aleksandra, and Vlada Mereshko; and his grandparents in Ukraine. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church with Reverend Piotr Nestertsov officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summer of God Slavic Evangelical Church, at 2501 E.
