ROD SIMPSON December 13, 1955 - April 30, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Eugene Daniel Simpson, Jr., age 51 of 8504 Highway 187 South, Iva, SC, died Monday, April 30, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on December 13, 1955, Mr. Simpson was a son of the late Eugene Daniel Simpson and Hazel Gentry Simpson. He was a graduate of Crescent High School and Tri-County Technical College with a degree in Textile Management. He was formerly employed with John De La Howe School in McCormick, SC and Anderson County School District Three. Mr. Simpson was a member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include brothers, Carl Simpson and David Simpson, both of Iva, SC; sisters, Deborah Worley and Brenda S. Campbell, both of Anderson, SC. Three nieces, four nephews and four great-nephews also survive.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm at South Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Ed Hunsinger officiating. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.The family will be at the home of his sister, Brenda Campbell, 406 Wood Valley Drive, Anderson, SC.
